- Disconnect battery earthing cable, and remove
dipstick,
- Raise lifting ramp.
- Drain oil sump,
- Disconnect
stabilizer
rod from side-members,

Remove
reinforcement from cylinder block
and
clutch housing,
- Remove

with retainers.
- Clear oil sump
after
setting crankshaft fn

turn
position after setting
reference (Fig. 1).
- Valve is then
accessible,
and may be inspected
easily after cap has been removed.
- The pump can be removed easily after unscrewing
the 2 setscrews used to fasten It to the cylinder
block.
(See chapter 8 2).
- For
re-fitting operations, proceed in reverse order.
