The classification system coaaon to these aanuals will be found on page 1.
This aanual Is divided Into chapters corresponding to the aain units of the vehicle.
Chapters are identified by a letter.
Within the framework of a chapter, the classifications of sections, I.e.
of
fnforutton concerning the
units of which a given assembly Is coaprlsed, Is identified by the letter corresponding to the relevant
chapter followed by a nuaber used to identify the Individual unit.
For easter 1nforaat1on finding, the section reference is followed by a roaan nuaber, which specifies the
nature of the inforaatton given on the unft In the section concerned:
I. Description - General -

specifications.
II. Tightening torque values.
Ill. Specific tooltng.
IV. Unit aaintenance and adjustaent procedures,
V. Unit reaoval and re-fitting procedures.
VI. Removed unit dismantling and re-asseably procedures, Inclusive of Inspection after

The lnforaatlon classification reference, or section syabol, appears In the box printed on the top outer
comer of each
page.
Page numbers are shown lamedlately below the classification reference or section nuaber, and page
nuaberlng starts fro• 1 for each
individual
section.
The structure of our classification system, therefore, Is as follows:
1 - Chapters : identified by a letter.
They correspond to the main vehicle
assa~bltes.
2-
Sections
:Identified by the chapter identification letter followed by a nuaber·
Identifying the unit concerned, and a roman nuural Indicating the nature of the
infor~~ation.
3- Page numbers : progressive numbering of pages for each section.
