REMOVING AND RE-FITTING A FRONT
SUSPENSION LOWER ARM

REMOVAL FRC:CEDURE
- Unlock front wheel,
- Set front of vehicle on pins, then remove wheel
after
marking Its position.
-
Remove stabilizer
rod tie-bar
fastening
nut.
Recover lower flexible ring and
its
2 cups. Clear
tie-bar spindle upwards (Fig. 57), but do not
remove It.
- Loosen wheel-play tie-rod linkage spindle, but do
not remove it.
- Remove nuts used for fastening
both
wheel-pl ay
tie-rod linkage plates to the suspension ann.
-Uncouple knuckle from lower suspension
arm, using
extractor Ref. 15532 E (Fig. 58),
- Remove both screws fastening
both
small
plates to
the
an.
- Swivel lower small pl ate to enabl
e
ann
to
be
cleared downwards (Fig. 59),
- Lower the ana to c 1 ear It from
the
1
ower
knuck
1
e
and stabilizer rod tie-bar.
Fit a nut on the stablli zer rod tie-bar in
order
to retain the stacking of
flexible
rings
and
cups.
- Remove a,.. linkage spindle on cross-member. Place
rack to bear against Its body to avoid damaging
Its bellows with the spindle.
- Reaove suspension
