Dismantling procedure
- Clean outside of calliper.
Important: never separate the
half-
callipers, to avoid damaging the
internal seals and experiencing the
leaks which might, afterwards, ensu~.
If there is a le8k from the joint plane of the
haif- ca llipers, repl ace th e calliper complete.

- Use a sma 11 screw dri ver to remove the dust cover
retaining snap-rings (Fig. 1).
- Remove both dust covers.
• Use tool Ref. 20837 R to hold piston in half-
calli per bore, on the side of the holes used for
fastening to the stub axle, then remove opposite
piston by Injecting compressed air throu gh the
feeding hole (bleed screw closed) , proceeding
gradually to prevent It f~om escaping brutally
(F! g. 2) ,

Inse rt a flat piece of metal between the half-
callipers to avoid damaging the opening of the
opposi t e bore (Fig. 3) .
