retaining spacer to be
made In the workshop with the dimensions shown

Fitting
the extractor in position
requires the removal of the snap ring, on the
bearing outer race, with
a
circllp grip (B.E.M.
-Muller
Ref. 595 Tor
O
.T.C.

715) (already
used for Borg-Warner automatic transmission
overhau 1).
- Fit bearing on Input shaft, using the 210 mm
1 ong 36 x 45 tube, wl th the
snap
ring on the
outer bearing race facing opposite
side
to
gear (Fia. 30).

- Fit pi lot bearing In position on output shaft.
- Fit input shaft on output shaft.
- Engage 4th
gear.
- Fit
a
new nut on the Input shaft, <r1d
lock

position, using special wrench
Ref.
20818 W.
Tightening
torque
is 15111
daN (Fig. 31).
- Lock the nut In position by forcing metal
into
both input shaft notches.
- Release 4th gear
