Dismantling the gear box

screw (Fig. 1) locking the shaft of the
reverse control gear.
- Fasten gear box to Desvil stand Ref. 149 (Fig.2),
using the following as attachment points:
• drain plug hole;
• reverse shaft locking screw hole.
- Remove gear shifting bar, then remove gear
control assembly (Fig. 3). Recover flat and
plastic washers, and spacers.
- Remove clutch housing, with fork, clutch bearing,
and sleeve assembled on same.

- Unlock transmission flange fastening swivel
nut on the output shaft.
- Loosen swivel nut using a 32 long bush Ref.
20814 J, and immobilizing the flange with a
special lever Ref. 21618 S (Fig. 4) •
- Remove transml ssl on flange.
- Rooove tachometer tappl ng.
