SPECIFICATIONS
Capacity: 65 litres.
PETROL TANK
The petrol tank is fitted under the trunk floor
at
the rear of the vehi c 1 e between the side.

it is fastened
by
means of 4

the petrol tank filler cap is
a sealing
cap, which fits in an opening in the
rear R.H. fender;
t~e
petrol filler neck is
fastened to the fender inner flange by means of
a
collar.
The petrol gauge is fastened to the petrol tank
front face,
and
slightly offset to the right;
this float gauge controls the fuel level gauge
on the instrument
panel.
The vent tube, welded to the upper section of
the
petrol
tank, runs up In the trunk along the
rear seat back to run down again under the trunk
floor;
a
regulator is fitted on this tube,
at
the
petrol
tank outlet, to
avoid any
risk of
petrol

eaks
through this duct.
It consists of
a
nylon
body
comprising
an
intemal
partition and a
float;
in its upper section, the
partition
has an
opening
allowing
the air to
flow
through;
this opening
may
be
plugged by
the float
if petrol flows
in the regulator,
and
this inhibits
any
leak to the outside.

owever,
a
2 mm dia.
hole,
fitted
with
a
1.6 mm
pin, allows a
permanent
flow
of
air
through the
partition
when the
float
obstructs the
main
opening).
