ExtremeWare XOS 11.5 supports only the Summit X450 family of switches and the BlackDiamond 8800 series switch.

enable dos-protect simulated

enable dos-protect simulated
Description
Enables simulated denial of service protection.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or variables.
Default
The default is disabled.
Usage Guidelines
If simulated denial of service is enabled, no ACLs are created. This mode is useful to gather information
about normal traffic levels on the switch. This will assist in configuring denial of service protection so
that legitimate traffic is not blocked.
Example
The following command enables simulated denial of service protection.
enable dos-protect simulated

This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 11.3.
