Power Configuration Sub-task
The Power Configuration sub-task allows the user to configure the power restore policy for the
server. The power restore policy determines the action that the system takes when power is
removed and then reapplied. This screen is shown below.
After completing this screen, click Save to complete this sub-task.
The selected radio button is the current setting. However, it is possible for a policy value to be read
from the firmware that does not correspond to any of these three settings. This value is classified as
unknown. In this case, a dialog box informs the user that such a state was read.
Chassis stays powered off when power is applied
When power is reapplied to the server, the server will not power up.
Power is restored to the state that was in effect when power was lost
If the system power was on when power was lost, the server will power back on. If the server was
powered down, it will remain powered down when power is reapplied.
Chassis always powers up when power is restored
When power is reapplied, the server will power up.
