Configuration Procedure

ONFIGURATION
To do...
Configure automatic
bandwidth adjustment for the
TE tunnel
Configure the interval for
polling the output rate of the
TE tunnel
Submit current tunnel
configuration
The sampling interval configured in MPLS view applies to all MPLS TE tunnels. The
output rates of all MPLS TE tunnels are recorded every sampling interval to
calculate the actual average bandwidth of an MPLS TE tunnel in one sampling
interval.
Once the mpls te auto-bandwidth adjustment frequency command you
configured in MPLS TE tunnel interface view takes effect, an adjustment frequency
timer starts. Upon expiration of this timer, MPLS TE resizes the tunnel bandwidth
using the maximum tunnel output rate sampled before the expiration of the timer
as the bandwidth constraint to set up a new LSP tunnel. If the setup attempt
succeeds, traffic will be switched to the new LSP tunnel and the old LSP tunnel will
be cleared. If the setup attempt fails, traffic travels the existing LSP tunnel.
CR-LSP backup provides end-to-end path protection to protect the entire LSP.
Before configuring CR-LSP backup, do the following:
Configure MPLS basic capabilities
Configure MPLS TE basic capabilities
Configure MPLS TE tunnels
