Measurements displays the number of measurements already taken (see chapter Pause
the sample series) and the total number of measurements to be performed. Thus, the total
number of measurements corresponds to the number of rows in the table.
With the button Start the sample series is started. Thereafter, the samples are measured
according to the order within the table.
With the help of a barcode scanner, the measuring sequence of the sample series can
be edited quickly and easily. To do this, the barcode scanner must be connected to the
device before the measurement button has been pressed in the main menu.
In the Configure sample series menu, the following functions are available when the
barcode scanner is connected:
- If a row to be created automatically can be added (the automatically assigned sample
position is not already assigned in a different row or is greater than there are positions
on the sample plate), a new row is created by scanning a barcode.
- This new row automatically receives a sample position and as sample ID the barcode
that is scanned.
- In the function Edit sample ID, scanned barcodes are entered directly as sample ID.
- Via a barcode which is located on the spacebar of the input screen, the input can be
confirmed directly.
