General sources of danger

h These operating instructions must be read carefully and understood prior to
using the device.
h These operating instructions must constantly be available on-site during the
entire lifespan of the device.
h All tasks may only be performed by qualified specialist staff.
h All tasks must be performed with caution.
h All safety and usage instructions in this manual must be complied with.
h Damage to the device which affects safety must be dealt with immediately.
Damage to persons:
Danger caused by electricity
h Only switch the device on if there is no damage to the device and the mains
cable.
h Only start up devices which have been professionally installed and enabled.
h Before cleaning the device, switch it off and isolate it from the power supply.
h Do not allow any liquids to get inside the device.
h Do not spray the device to clean it.
h Only connect the device to the power supply when it is completely dry.
h Before replacing the fuse, isolate it from the power supply.
Damage to devices:
Damage to the device caused by improper use
h In order to avoid damage caused by the build-up of condensation, wait at least
one hour after transporting the device from a cool area (e.g. refrigerated room)
before connecting the device to the power supply.
h Do not place the device near heat sources (e.g. heating).
h Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
h Ensure that air is permitted to circulate freely.
h Clean the device using only neutral cleaning products.
h In case of contamination with aggressive chemicals, clean the device
immediately using a neutral cleaning agent.
