This chapter should help you to quickly remove any errors which arise.
Possible causes
Contaminated frequency oscillator.
The frequency oscillator is too moist
and dilutes the sample.
The saved tare value is no longer
up-to-date.
Calibration data are no longer
up-to-date.
Frequency oscillator and filling hose
have not been carefully cleaned
between sample measurements.
The sample has not yet reached the
temperature defined in the method.
The measurement time delay has
not yet elapsed.
Target temperature value not yet
reached.
Temperature tolerance set too low.
Timeout.

Clean the frequency oscillator.
• Drying the measurement chamber
• Replacing the cartridge
Measure the tare value again. See Chapter
System menu > Tab Service.
Calibrate the density meter. See Chapter System
menu > Tab Service.
• After every measurement, clean the frequency
oscillator carefully and thoroughly with 10 to
15 ml distilled water or a solvent compatible
with the sample.
• Carefully wipe filling hose from the outside
when changing the sample.
Wait until the sample has reached the desired
temperature.
Wait for time delay to pass.
Enter a shorter time delay.
See the chapter Methods menu.
Wait for temperature control.
Increase temperature tolerance. See Chapter
Methods menu > Tab Temp.
Contact the administrator. The administrator can
change the timeframe.
