Create new user

This is the procedure
Login Shows the name of the current user. The name can be
changed using the key. The key opens the input window for a
new login name.
Valid until Selection window: unlimited/establish date of validity.

Password The key opens the input window for a new password.
last logged in on The user last logged in at this time.
Failed login attempts Information on the number of failed login attempts by the
current user.
Current user logs out. The login window for the next user
opens. This is only shown if activated underSySTEM > Tab
Opt. > Activate user administration.
A new user is created.
In Edit mode, the selected user can be deleted following prior
security prompt.
The following parameters must be defined for each user:
• Name
• Login name
• Password
• Minimum password length
• Permission
• Validity
Users can only be defined if underSySTEM > Tab Opt. > Activate user
administration is activated.
1. Press USER > Tab General > EDIT
2. Press NEW to define a new user.
The user name entry dialog box opens.

Validity unlimited.
If the permissions are intended to
be valid only for a limited period, a
period of validity can be entered.
