Define and modify alarm profiles

This is the procedure
In the tab General , the alarm profile is defined with limit values.

In the tab Options , the defined alarm profile can be locked and/or released.

New alarm profiles can be created and alarm profiles which are already defined can be
edited.
1. Click on METHODS > Tab Settings> EDIT.
2. Select Alarm profiles > -Manage alarm profiles-
Explanatory notes
Selection of units based on pre-defined scales. The
alarm profiles can only be defined for result of Scale
1.
Scales labelled * are factory-defined.
The unit is based on the selected scale.
If the measured sample is below the defined lower limit
value, the result is labelled -----.
If the measured sample is above the defined upper
limit value, the result is labelled ++++.
Explanatory notes
Activated, the current alarm profile is disabled and
cannot be used.
The alarm profile cannot be disabled if the alarm
profile is already in use in other methods.
Opens a dialog box for the definition of a new alarm profile.
Deletes current alarm profile.
The settings are confirmed, the method menu is closed and the
start menu is opened.
The method menu closes without saving the entry and the start
menu opens.
