For devices without peristaltic pumps, the sample is filled manually into the frequency
oscillator.
Following measurement, the sample is also rinsed off with water or a solvent compatible
with the sample.
Drying is then manually triggered via the function SySTEM > Tab Functions > AIR PUMP .
During sample uptake, the peristaltic pump DS7070 transports the presented sample into
the frequency oscillator. Various throughput speeds are adjustable. Highly viscous liquids
should be transported more slowly to avoid air bubbles being transported along with
them.
The factory setting values for the pump are as follows:
• Revolution speed: 50 rpm
• Pumping time: 10 s
