Activating the audit trail

This is the procedure
The audit trail is available since firmware version 7.214.
The device contains an audit trail function. This function offers a computer-generated and
timestamped recording off all changes which are relevant for the measurement or the
system when using the device. The logged history is stored safely and is neither editable
nor erasable.
When the audit trail is activated, both the settings at the time of a measurement and the
measurement result itself are traceable in combination with the result menu.
The audit trail can be activated and deactivated in the system setting menu. To do this
administrator rights are needed.
1. Press System > Tab Opt. > Edit.
2. The system option Activate Audit-Trail activates or deactivates the audit trail.
3. The system option Comment Audit-Trail-Log activates or deactivates the comment
option of the audit trail. If this option is activated, every audit trail log entry has to be
commented.
4. To confirm the activation press OK
