7.4.2 Clean frequency oscillator with cleaning procedure
Condition
2. Press SySTEM > Tab Functions > Air pump Start.
3. Stop the air pump by pressing SySTEM > Tab Functions > Air pump STOP when the
frequency oscillator is dry.
The frequency oscillator should now be clean and dry.
The procedure for cleaning the frequency oscillator with drying unit DS7060 and
peristaltic pump DS7070 is carried out as follows.
The cleaning procedures must be defined in the method accessed.
See the chapter Method menu > Tab Cleaning for how to define cleaning procedures.
Rinse 1. Access the method with the cleaning procedure.
2. Fill a rinsing vessel with distilled water or a suitable solvent and hang the filling hose in
the rinsing vessel.
3. Place the waste vessel underneath the waste hose.
4. Start the cleaning procedure with SySTEM > Tab Functions > Function Cleaning.
The Cleaning function performs the cleaning procedure which is selected in
Methods.
In the first step, the rinsing solution is sucked up by the peristaltic pump and the peristaltic
pump is stopped when the pumping time is over.
Before the next, second step (sucking up the rinsing solution), the hose must be removed

1. Remove the filling hose from the rinsing vessel.
