• Put the sample onto the prism (approx.1ml).
• Close the lid.
• Press READ | ENTER.
• The measuring result is shown.
• Press SCALE to change the measurement unit
(% Brix, nD or % Salinity).
• The arrow shows the current unit.
• By pressing FUNC | Y/N you can change the
following functions:
1. Alarm setting
(High Limit H.L. and Low Limit L.L.)
2. Switching on and off the temperature
compensation
3. Changing temperature unit °C or °F
To change the setting of the functions menu 1–3,
always start with function menu 1 and continue with
function menus 2 and 3.
To enter the functions menus start with the start display.
