Preparation for measurement
For the next step (drying the frequency oscillator), prepare the device as follows:
1. Connect the air hose to the draining piece on the frequency oscillator.
2. Hang the filling hose in an empty waste vessel.

Danger of spraying. If the hose juts into the waste liquid during the drying process,
there is a strong spray.
h Use an empty waste vessel where
h Take care to ensure that the end of the hose does not fall into the liquid.
h Wear suitable protective equipment when using corrosive liquids.
3. Press SySTEM > Tab Functions > Air pump Start.
4. Stop the air pump by pressing SySTEM > Tab Functions > Air pump STOP when the
frequency oscillator is dry.
The frequency oscillator should now be clean and dry.
Prepare the hoses as follows for the measurement:
1. Remove the air hose from the frequency oscillator and connect the drainage hose.
2. Clean the filling hose, if needed, from the outside and hang it in the sample to be
measured.
