The tare can only be calculated and modified by users with administrator permissions.
1. Press SySTEM > Tab Service > EDIT > Tare [g/cm3].
The control value and measurement number input dialog box will open:

Explanatory notes
The density meter is calibrated using the measurement
calibration. A measurement calibration is carried out in
order to enable correct measurements and to remove
systemic measurement deviations.
For measurement calibration, two measurements are
taken:
First measuring point: empty sample space (air)
Second measuring point: Water (degassed)
The key shows the current version.
The key starts the software update from a USB stick. The
new software is emailed to you by the manufacturer.
There are firmware updates for:
• Operating interface
• Measurement module.
Database version information field.

With an SQL script, you can expand the data stock of
the device (e.g. new methods) or correct it. The SQL
script is run using a connected USB stick.
If the log file is activated, all SQL script actions are
recorded in a log file on the USB stick.
Remote monitoring of the device is possible via an
internet connection.
Krüss has no right of access to the data.
The system menu closes without saving the input and
the start menu opens.
Exports system settings.
Prints system settings.
The settings are accepted, the system menu is closed
and the start menu opens.
