RADIUS Box
RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial In User Service) is a standardized
method of information exchange between a device that provides network
access to users (such as a Remote Access Server used for network dial-
up) and a device that contains authentication and profile information for
these users (such as BaySecure Access Control).
RADIUS provides a higher level of security than acp, and offers an
accounting feature to track security events.
You can set these RADIUS parameters:
RADIUS Secret
code. Bay Networks recommends that you enter a value at least
16 characters long, is not guessable, and contains at least two
non- alphanumeric characters. If it is preceded by "0x" then the
RADIUS shared secret is interpreted as hexadecimal binary.
