Changing these parameters from their default settings could cause unexpected negative results, and is discouraged.

    Setting Parameter Values In this example, when the 5399 RAC receives a call on a number that ends with 103, the call is treated as a modem call, with a user-defined modem type named credit_card. Before the modem answers the call, its digital modem configuration parameters 16, 17, 18, and 19 are set to the values 15, 15, 7, and 7, respectively.
