When congested, the interface sends a flow control frame to its peer.
Upon receiving a flow control frame from the peer, the interface suspends sending packets.
To implement flow control on a link, you must enable the generic flow control function at both ends of
the link.
Examples
# Enable flow control on interface GigabitEthernet 2/0/1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface gigabitEthernet 2/0/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/0/1] flow-control

flow-interval

Syntax
flow-interval interval
undo flow-interval

Parameters
interval: Sets a statistics polling interval, in seconds. It ranges from 5 to 300 and must be a multiple of 5.
The default value is 300s.
Description
Use the flow-interval command to set the interface statistics polling interval.
Use the undo flow-interval command to restore the default interval.
Examples
# Set the statistics polling interval to 100 seconds on GigabitEthernet 2/0/1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface gigabitEthernet 2/0/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/0/1] flow-interval 100

Parameters
interface-list: Ethernet interface list, in the form of interface-type interface-number [ to interface-type
interface-number ] &<1-10>, where &<1-10> indicates that you can specify up to 10 ports or port
ranges.
