General Operation

When all systems are operating normally the following occurs:
• The Local Alarm's green LEDs are lit.
• The Area Alarm Module's green Normal LED is lit, and the pressure or vacu-
um is displayed.
• The Master Alarm lights all the configured LEDs green and scrolls "No
Alarms" across the display's screen.

Pre-Use Checkout

After the alarm is completely installed, test for cross-connections in accor-
dance with the latest edition of the NFPA 99 standard or CSA Z305.1-92
code dictated by the authority having jurisdiction. Misconnection of med-
ical gas or vacuum can result in serious or fatal injury to patients.
