Master Alarm or Area Alarm Conversion Kit Power Supply
Tools required:
Removal
Turn off the power to the alarm, and leave it off during the installation or
replacement of any component or sub-assembly. Failure to do so could
result in personal injury or equipment damage.
1. Turn off the power from the facility's supply to the alarm.
2. Unlock the front panel.
NOTE:
For clarity, the front panel is not shown in the illustration for this procedure.
3. Remove the two nuts (A) securing the high voltage cover (B) to the power
supply assembly (C) (see figure 4-7 on page 4–19).
4. Remove and save the box connector (D) from the high voltage cover (B).
5. Disconnect the ground wire (E) from the terminal block (F).
6. Note where the input power wires (G) connect to the terminal block (F).
7. Disconnect the input power wires (G) from the terminal block (F).
8. Remove the two screws (H) securing the power supply assembly (C) to the
rough-in box (I).
9. Remove the high voltage cover (B) and the power supply assembly (C) from
the rough-in box (I).
