NOTE:
While the Master Alarm is in test mode, the buzzer and the main relay are dis-
abled; however, the auxiliary relay still triggers when an alarm condition occurs.

Configuring Options Available for the Master Alarm

There are three ways you can configure the Master Alarm: front panel keys, RS-
232 serial port, or Web pages.
By using the front panel, you can configure the following options (see table 1-1
on page 1–24).

A Combination Alarm that has a 30-Point Master Alarm with three Area Alarm Modules cannot
interface with a building automation system. The Area Alarm Modules use the same connector that
would otherwise interface with the building automation system. If you need to interface with a
building automation system, order a 30-Point Master Alarm and a Three Module Area Alarm or a
30-Point Master with Six Area Alarm Module Combination Alarm (see table 1-20 on page 1–49).

Set the language for English, Spanish, or French.

Clears the device list from the Master Alarm's memory.
Set the type of gas or vacuum an input is monitoring.
Set an alarm input message.
