Error Codes and Troubleshooting Tips

Area Alarm

The error codes for the Area Alarm Modules are used to help identify and solve
problems with the facility's gas system or the MedPlus TotalAlert® Alarm
Network (see table 2-1 on page 2-8).
Error Code
A 01 Transducer pressure below
sensor range.
A 02 Transducer pressure above
sensor range.
A 03 Transducer communication
time out.
A 04 Area Alarm Module RAM
error.
A 05 Area Alarm Module ROM
error.
A 06 Transducer status fault.
A 07 Incorrect transducer connected
to Area Alarm Module.
A 08 Area Alarm Module pro-
grammed as vacuum, but units
are not inHg or mmHg.
A 09 Area Alarm Module pro-
grammed as pressure, but are
units not in PSI or kPa.
A 10 Transducer is programmed as
an invalid type of gas.
A 11 Transducer short circuit
detected.
