With the test adapter you can test the function of the machine operating panel as well as the

function of the MB interface on the MC:

Shut down the control and switch off the machine.
Disconnect the MB cable from the MC.
Connect the test adapter instead to connector X46 of the MC.
Switch on the machine.
Press the EMERGENCY STOP button.
Use a line that you then insert into the socket 37 (or 36) of the test adapter.
Insert the other end of the line into the socket for the respective key.
Use the respective table with the pin layout. --> See "Machine Operating Panel" on page 27
– 499.
You can simulate the pressing of keys by bridging the respective banana jacks on the test
adapter.
Caution
Do not cause a short circuit of the voltage (pin 36/37 and pin 34/35)!
Observe the keys, e.g. in the PLC-TABLE.
Note
As the MB interface X46 on the MC is designed as female, you can also connect the pins
with a bridge and thus conduct a simulation by pressing the keys.
