DANGER
For this examination it must be ensured that no dangerous action can be performed at the
machine. Therefore, press the EMERGENCY STOP button and contact the machine
manufacturer.
Caution
If several 24-V sources are used on your machine, use exactly the one intended for the PLC
inputs.
PLC input defective?
Switch off the machine.
Disconnect the original lead from the
PLC input to be checked; secure the lead.
Instead, connect the end of a separate lead to this
PLC input, and the other end to the pulse pole of
the 24-V power supply of the electrical cabinet.
Press the EMERGENCY STOP button. (Make sure that no
dangerous action can be performed on the machine!)
Switch on the main switch of the machine.
Acknowledge the Power interrupted message;
the PLC program will be compiled.
Do NOT press the Control voltage ON key (the machine
power should not be switched on.)
Call the PLC TABLE and place the
cursor on the input to be checked.
Is the input
set to 1?
The input on the control component
(MB, UEC, PLB, PLD) is okay.
The defect is located in the electrical
cabinet or the machine tool.
