Default Configuration
The silence period is not limited.

User Guidelines
The command is only applied to WEB-based authentication.
If an authorized client does not send traffic during the silence period specified by
the command, the state of the client is changed to unauthorized.
Example
The following example sets the authentication silence time to 100 seconds:

2.24 dot1x timeout supp-timeout

Use the dot1x timeout supp-timeout Interface Configuration mode command to
set the time interval during which the device waits for a response to an Extensible
Authentication Protocol (EAP) request frame from the client before resending the
request. Use the no form of this command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
dot1x timeout supp-timeout
no dot1x timeout supp-timeout
Parameters
seconds
supp-timeout
which the device waits for a response to an EAP request frame from the
client before resending the request. (Range: 1–65535 seconds).
Default Configuration
The default timeout period is 30 seconds.
