Connection overview
Procedure
1. Switch off all power supplies (line supply and external 24 V power supply) to the converter.
2. Wait 5 minutes to allow the converter to discharge and check that no voltage is present at
the converter connections.
3. Release the retaining screws (6 x M4) on the Electronic Module by using a 3 mm allen key,
and remove the module.
4. Remove the internal braking resistor connection from the terminal block DCP/PB in the
Wiring Module, and insulate the cable conductors with the heat-shrinkable tube.
5. Proceed as follows to complete the external braking resistor connections:
– Remove the blanking cap at interface X4.
– Connect the external braking resistor cable to the terminal block DCP/PB and the PE terminal.
6. Re-attach the Electronic Module with a tightening torque of 2.5 Nm (22.1 lbf.in).

For the G115D wall-mounted converter, directly install the M16 cable gland ① at interface X4.
For the G115D motor-mounted converter, firstly install the M16 reducer ② at interface X4, and
then install the M16 cable gland ① on the M16 reducer.
