Mounting the converter
You must mount the converter on a metal backplane or on a frame which allows air flow
from the back.
Mounting orientations
The converter supports the following mounting orientations: correct (✓); permissible with
restrictions (!)
Restrictions:
For wall-mounted converter FSA and FSB (≤3 kW), the permissible output current is reduced for mount-
ing orientations ① to ④.

Mounting clearance
The minimum clearance distances are as follows:
• Wiring side of the converter: 200 mm (7.9 in)
Non-wiring side of the converter: 150 mm (5.9 in)

Derating the output current to 80% of the rated converter current is necessary.
Derating the output current to 70% of the rated converter current is necessary.
