Usage Information
The polling—interval command is used to set the interval in milliseconds to poll the queue traffic and egress
counters. You can use the polling results to detect the inconsistencies in the PAUSE frames received .
Example
Use the storm-control pfc command in the configuration mode to enter the 'storm-control-pfc'
configuration mode. The commands provisioned in this mode are applicable for all the interfaces that have PFC
storm enabled.
Dell(conf)#storm-control pfc
Dell(conf-storm-control-pfc)#polling-interval 200
xoff-state threshold polling-count
When a lossless queue in an interface is not able to forward traffic for a particular duration of time, it is detected as PFC storm. You can set
the duration by providing the number of polling intervals. If a port/priority remains in xoff state for the specified duration, then it is detected
as PFC storm condition.
Syntax
xoff-state threshold polling-count {number of polling-interval}
