Usage Information
The VRRP group only becomes active and sends VRRP packets when you configure a virtual IP address. When you
delete the virtual IP address, the VRRP group stops sending VRRP packets.
Related Command

Set the VRRP protocol version for the IPv4 group.
Syntax
version {2 | 3 | both}
To return to the default setting, use the no version command.

Enter the keyword 2 to specify VRRP version 2 as defined by RFC 3768, Virtual Router
Redundancy Protocol.
Enter the keyword 3 to specify VRRP version 3 as defined by RFC 5798, Virtual Router
Redundancy Protocol.
Enter the keyword both for in-service migration from VRRP version 2 to VRRP version 3.
