Figure 3.177 Program Transcoder Transport Stream Page
The Transport Stream table enables the entry of Repetition Rates, Input PIDs, bit
rate for the SI tables, the output transport rate and setting for statistical multiplexing
if licensed.
3-372
Default SD Output Bit Rate – Sets the default output bit rate (in Mbps) to used
the first time a SD service is detected and no other bit rate has previously been
entered.
Default HD Output Bit Rate – Sets the default output bit rate (in Mbps) to used
the first time an HD service is detected. If it is not possible to determine if a
service is SD or HD then the HD bit rate will be used.
Repetition Rate – Sets the repetition rate (in seconds) for each of the Transport
Stream PSI and SI tables. Generally, it is recommended that the values are left
at the default.
Source – Sets how the tables are produced for the output stream.
-
Disabled – Do not produce the table in the output stream (EIT, CAT only).
-
Generated/Regenerated – Produce the output table based on the incoming
table and the selected configuration of the services. The outgoing tables will
only contain data for the services that are selected for transcode.
