In order to change the CA PIN, all three of these fields must be populated before
clicking on Apply Changes. The web browser will report whether the change was
successful or not.

About Conax

The About Conax section is located under the CA tab via the web browser under the
section Conax Conditional Access. This information is also accessible via the front
panel menus: CA Systems > Conax > About Conax (menu ID 5.2.2 as of release
version 10.0.0).
This section shows a summary of any Conax specific information which might be
useful for problem diagnosis or enabling/disabling subscription access.

New CA PIN – Used to enter the new desired CA PIN for the smart card in use.
This is a four digit code.
Confirm New CA PIN – Used to confirm the new desired CA PIN for the smart
card in use. This is a four digit code.
IRD Software Version – The current software version running in the RX8330C
IRD.
Interface Version – Supported by the smart card in use. This is returned from
the smart card when it is inserted. The RX8330C will only support the Interface
Version 0x40, any other version returned by the smart card will be rejected by
the IRD and descrambling cannot proceed.
Chip ID – A unique chipset identity for the RX8330C in use. The Chip ID is
required by the operator so that the smart card can be paired to the chipset of
the IRD. Once paired, the smart card can release the appropriate protection
keys for decrypting encrypted control words and link protected messages.
Card Number – The card number returned from the smart card in use. This is
returned from the smart card when it is inserted.
Number of Sessions – The maximum number of sessions supported by the
smart card in use. It should be noted that RX8330C will only make use of only
one session at any one time. Multiservice descrambling is not supported. This is
returned from the smart card when it is inserted.
