SDI Output Capabilities on the RX8200

The RX8200 has a number of output option cards which support the following output
formats. ASI and SDI are supported as standard.

SD Output (RX8200/HWO/SD)
HD Output (RX8200/HWO/HD)
3G Output (RX8200/HWO/3G)
The RX8200 series fitted with the SD Output (RX8200/HWO/SD) option has two SDI
connectors available.
The RX8200 series fitted with the HD Output (RX8200/HWO/HD) or 3G Output
(RX8200/HWO/3G) option card has three connectors available which can be
configured for SDI, HD-SDI or where applicable, 3G-SDI.

Output Configuration
The SDI output can be controlled through the web browser interface from the Output
page.

Output One / Two / Three – This menu configures the signal output from one of
the SDI/ASI Output BNC ports at the read of the RX8000.

AUTO – The video format, whether it is SD or HD, is passed through without
conversion. If the incoming video is HD then the output BNC connector will
be configured as HD-SDI. If the incoming video is SD then the output BNC
connector will be configured as (SD) SDI. If the incoming video is 1080p
then the output BNC connector will be configured as 3G-SDI.

HD-SDI – Only HD video will be output from this Output BNC connector.
