Current Status
This is a general text field, which describes the status of the Conax CA system
within the unit. It can have the values as described in the Conax CA Status
Messages section above.

IRD Software Version

This provides the current unit software version, this is the same as displayed on
menu 1.2.1 SW VERSION.

Interface Version
This shows the Interface Version supported by the smart card in use. This is
returned from the smart card when it is inserted. The RX8330C will only support the
Interface Version 0x40, any other version returned by the smart card will be rejected
by the IRD and descrambling cannot proceed.

Chip ID

The Chip ID states a unique chipset identity for the RX8330C in use. The Chip ID is
required by the operator so that the smart card can be paired to the chipset of the
IRD. Once paired, the smart card can release the appropriate protection keys for
decrypting encrypted control words and link protected messages.
