The mGuard pci² SD has the design of a PCI-compatible plug-in board. It is available in two
versions:
– mGuard pci² SD for devices or machines with PCI bus
– mGuard pcie² SD for devices or machines with PCI Express bus
To aid understanding, mGuard pci² SD is used for the two device versions in this user man-
ual.
The mGuard pci² SD is suitable for distributed protection of industrial and panel PCs, indi-
vidual machines or industrial robots. It has a configuration memory in the form of a replace-
able SD card, which can be easily accessed on the front.
