The mGuard smart² is the smallest device version. For example, it can be inserted be-
tween the computer or local network and an available router, without having to make con-
figuration changes or perform driver installations on the existing system. It is designed for
instant use in the office or when traveling.
The mGuard smart² is a further development of the mGuard smart. To aid understanding,
mGuard smart² is mostly used for the two device versions in this user manual. The proper-
ties described also apply to the mGuard smart. Differences from the mGuard smart are in-
dicated, if applicable.
