The mGuard industrial rs can be used as a firewall/VPN router via Ethernet or via serial
dial-up connections. It is available in three device versions:
– With integrated modem
– With integrated ISDN terminal adapter
– Without these devices
The mGuard industrial rs is suitable for secure remote services (remote diagnostics, re-
mote configuration). The device is designed for standard DIN rail mounting and is therefore
ideal for use in industrial applications.
The VPN tunnels can be initiated using software or hardware switches. A redundant supply
voltage can be connected (9 V DC ... 36 V DC).
