Is there a SRC 1xxx 2600 or 2601?
No
Yes
Exchange the following FRUs one at a time:
a. Memory cards if installed. (see "Locations and Addresses" on
page 705).
b. Processor cards if installed. (see "Locations and Addresses" on
page 705).
This ends the procedure.
7. Is the SRC 1xxx 2602?
No
Yes
Perform "Power PIP7" on page 392 on the Model 830 processor
enclosure (upper).
8. Is the SRC 1xxx 2603?
No
Yes
Perform "Power PIP6" on page 389 on the failing frame.
9. Is the SRC 1xxx 2604?
No
Yes
Perform "Power PIP6" on page 389 on the failing frame or "Power
PIP7" on page 392 on the Model 830 processor enclosure (upper) to
find failing item.
10. Is the SRC 1xxx 6400 or 6401?
Yes
No
Go to "Starting Point for All Problems" on page 4.
11. Perform the following:
a. Power off the system.
b. In a system unit: Exchange the SPCN card (see Symbolic FRU "BKSPCN"
on page 506).
c. In an expansion unit: Exchange the AC module (ACMODUL).
d. Power on the system.
Does the SRC 1xxx 6400 or 6401 continue to be displayed?
Yes
No
The part that was replaced in this step was the failing item.
This ends the procedure.
12. Perform the following:
a. Power off the system.
b. Remove one of the regulators in position 1-10, 11, 20, 21, 22, 23 and clock
card regulator (expansion 1, 2) and install a new regulator (see "Locations
and Addresses" on page 705)
Note: The regulator in position 3 is not the same part number as the other
regulators.
c. Power on the system.
Is SRC 1xxx 6400 or 6401 displayed?
