setting, the TalkSwitch unit will send a Flashto the telephone company.
If the interval is greater than the setting, the TalkSwitch unit will put
the call on hold, and then retrieve it. Choices range from 200 ms. to 2
sec.
6. Set the 3-Way Calling wait time to the minimum interval between the
Flashsignal and the telephone number. The 3-Way Calling/Conference
service requires this interval to re-establish dial tone. Choices range from
500 ms. to 5 sec.
7. Set the Disconnect on silence after list to the amount of time to wait for
the Disconnect/Clear signal, after using the Call Bridge, Call Back or Call
Forwarding service. If the wait time elapses, the TalkSwitch unit will
clear the telephone line. Choices range from 5 sec. to 10 min.
8. Set the Single digit fall through time to how long the auto attendant will
wait after the caller dials a number. Once the wait time elapses, the auto
attendant processes the entry. Choices range from immediately to 4 sec.
Selecting immediately limits each entry to a single number. Although
callers will not be able to enter extension and voice mailbox numbers,
the auto attendant will be very fast and responsive. The other selections
do allow callers to enter extension and voice mailbox numbers.
9. Set the Inter-Digit Timeout (IDT) to how long the TalkSwitch system will
wait after the user dials a number. Once the wait time elapses, auto route
selection (ARS) will assume that dialing is complete. Choices range from
3 seconds to 18 seconds.
ARS and toll restriction are implemented on each call when the longest
matching entry is found in the ARS table or after the inter-digit timeout
period.
