• Play auto attendant — Plays the selected auto attendant, either
immediately or after ringing the extensions.
• Go to voice mailbox — Accesses the selected voice mailbox, either
immediately or after ringing the extensions.
5. If you selected Ring extensions only:
a) Select the local extensions to ring. All extensions are selected by
default.
b) Click Adjust Sequence.... The Adjust Extension Ring Sequence
window appears.
c) For each extension, set the number of rings to wait before ringing.
All extensions ring after the first ring by default. If you assign a
different value to each extension, then the extension with the lowest
number of rings will ring first. The other extensions will start ringing
as the number of rings goes up.
If you select Ring extensions only:
• The selected extensions, during this mode and on this telephone line,
will not use their call cascades for incoming calls.
• The TalkSwitch system will answer after 15 rings with a generic auto
attendant, so an authorized caller can access the system to make
configuration changes, access voicemail or dial extensions.
