SWITCHING MODES
Ensure that the TalkSwitch configuration software is closed during
automatic mode switching, or if a caller is manually switching modes
remotely. In these cases the mode cannot switch while the TalkSwitch
configuration software is open.
Note that the mode can switch while the TalkSwitch configuration
software is open, if the user is manually switching modes using the
software, as described later.
Switching modes manually
Use telephone keypad commands at a local extension or at the auto
attendant to switch modes.
1. Press

attendant to enter command mode.
2. Enter your password if required.
3. Dial one of the following commands:

Dial 30

Dial 31
•
Dial 32
•
Dial 33
Switching modes automatically
Use the TalkSwitch configuration software to set up automatic mode
switching.
If you switch modes manually, TalkSwitch will automatically switch modes
during the next scheduled mode change.
USING CALL BRIDGE AND CALL BACK
Working together, call back and call bridge act as your personal long-distance
operator. Whether you are across town or around the world, these two
features allow you to place calls from your office telephone line.
