At the prompt DHCP Yes/No?, enter 0-N (0 for No). You are
prompted to enter all parameters.
By default, Full DHCP is configured on the IP Phone 2001.
Depending on the configuration requirements, you can change
the IP Phone 2001 configuration to allow the following IP address
assignments:
Static—enter all parameters
Partial DHCP—IP Phone address, subnet mask, and default
Gateway are obtained from the DHCP server
Full DHCP— (default) all parameters are obtained from the
DHCP server
A DHCP server and DHCP relay agents must also be installed,
configured, and running if you choose Partial DHCP, or Full DHCP
configuration. For more information about how to set up DHCP
servers for use with the IP Phones, see Converging the Data
Network with VoIP Fundamentals (NN43001-260).
