Description

The IP Phone 2007 uses the customer IP data network to communicate
with the Communication Server 1000. The IP Phone 2007 translates voice
into data packets for transport using Internet Protocol. A Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server is used to provide information that
enables the IP Phone 2007 network connection, and Communication Server
1000 connection.
