New in this release The following section details what’s new in the Nortel IP Phone 1110 User Guide (CICM) (NN10300-021) for the release (I)SN10. Features This new document for Nortel Communication Server 2000/2100 supports the integration of Nortel IP Phone 1110 into the Centrex IP Client Manager (CICM) portfolio of supported terminals.
Overview Nortel IP Phone 1110 brings voice and data to the desktop by connecting directly to a Local Area Network (LAN) through an Ethernet connection. For example, if you transfer from an IP Phone 2004 to an IP Phone 1110 for the first time, the Call Service features that were provisioned on feature keys 2, 3, and 4 on the 2004, are assigned to softkeys 2, 3, and 4 based on the feature profile of each feature.
Mute feature The IP Phone 1110 does not have a fixed mute key, but a mute feature is available from the feature list. The mute feature profile is Hide when idle, therefore the item appears in the display only when the handset is active.
