Description
The Backup Inspiratory Time setting defines the length of each inspi-
ration delivered during ventilator-triggered backup ventilation, initi-
ated by the set Backup Rate.
The combination of the Backup Inspiratory Time and Backup Rate
setting is limited by the I:E ratio 2:1 (1:99 to 1:1 in MPV).

Description
The Sigh rate sets the frequency of which breaths with an increased
pressure or volume are delivered to the patient.
If the High Pressure alarm or the High Tidal Volume alarm is given,
the Sigh function will be disabled as long as the alarm condition
remains.
